The Conference mostly will be held in the main building of the Warsaw University of Technology (see Conference Venue and plans & maps). A few special events will take place in the building of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering.
The official language of the Conference will be English and it will be used for all presentations and printed material.
The Conference will continue for three days beginning on Wednesday, September 18 and ending on Friday, September 20. Saturday, September 21 has been reserved for a technical tour providing participants with an opportunity for visiting a few water projects around Warsaw and sightseeing the city and its neighbourhood (see Technical tour).

The pre-conference events include two courses: "Routing of Water and Sediment in Channel Networks Using CCHE1D Model" and "Applications of CCHE2D Model to the Study of Flow and Sediment Transport in Open Channels". Both are planned to be held in Warsaw, at the Warsaw University of Technology.
The Reception Desk of ICHE-2002 will be located in the Main Building of Warsaw University of Technology (Politechniki Square 1) and will be open during the following hours:
